After creating your wallet, the most important step is to back it up in the App's Settings. You should head to the 'Security' page and complete all the steps to secure your wallet. Eventually, you'll receive a 15-word seed phrase, also known as a mnemonic phrase. This phrase contains all your private keys, and it's unique to your wallet – it won't match any other wallet.
We strongly recommend doing this immediately after creating your wallet because the mnemonic phrase is the only key to your assets. If you lose it, you'll lose access to your wallet when you log out.
It's vital to store the mnemonic phrase on paper in a secure location. Ensure you write down the words exactly as the App shows them and keep them in a place only you know about. If someone gets hold of your mnemonic phrase, they can access your wallet. Remember, when it comes to non-custodial wallets we cannot restore your wallet or change the mnemonic. If you don't have the mnemonic phrase or lose it, you won't be able to access your wallet when you log out.
In Noone Wallet, we adhere to widely accepted blockchain standards for wallet compatibility, which include BIP32, BIP39, and BIP44. If you have another wallet that follows these standards, you can import your mnemonic into Noone. We support mnemonic phrases with 12, 15, 18, 21, and 24 words. When logging into Noone Wallet, simply select the 'Import existing wallet' feature and enter your words one by one. Similarly, you can export your Noone Wallet to another wallet that follows the same standards.
